Black Decorating Slip

Description

Easy to use — apply to greenware at leather hard or slightly harder stage (clay is firm enough to stand on it’s own but can still be bent and shaped) – must not be applied to bone dry surface. Can be used on either stoneware, earthenware or porcelain!

Can be painted on or slip trailed for a raised effect.

Once bisque fired—glaze is applied either by dipping or brushing on.   If decorative ware, the items can be fired without glaze for the matt/velvet finish.

In convenient 250ml jars. Easy to keep stored — in a cool, dry place. It can be diluted with a little water if necessary.
